AfrAsia Bank has bagged 2 prestigious accolades at this year’s The Digital Banker / Global Private Banker awards including the Best Private Bank – Mauritius and Outstanding Marketing Campaign in the Pandemic, in recognition of the integrated “The Believers” Campaign, launched in Oct 2020.
The Bank is the first financial institution in Mauritius to win these country-specific awards which reflect the quality of AfrAsia’s offering alongside international renowned banking players like JP Morgan, BNP Paribas, UBS, Julius Baer, and Standard Chartered.
“This recognition testifies the customer-centricity of our business model, designed to better meet our clients’ needs as well as those of the new generation of wealth owners and high net worth individuals who require more personal advisory and innovation. Despite the COVID-19 pandemic being an ongoing challenge, it has brought client relationships into sharper focus and effective customer engagement played a key role during this difficult time. We have to continuously strengthen our capabilities and operational effectiveness to provide our client base with further support so that they can achieve their financial goals.” commented Thierry Vallet, Interim CEO of AfrAsia Bank.
“We are delighted and honoured to receive this accolade for “The Believers” campaign. This demonstrates our brand’s versatility and creativity to make positive differences despite the unprecedented challenges. The pandemic has presented us with the opportunity to think differently and realign our initiatives to reach our customers with an impactful, authentic and relevant message which are the cornerstone of our brand since its inception,” stated Suneeta Motala, Chief Marketing Officer of AfrAsia Bank.
